So, that is the 5th Season of the wonderful Show Dr. Who. 

The Doctor has regenerated to a new face (Matt Smith) and has to save the world from Aliens, who are about to incinerate the Earth. Again. I know. 

He also has some new companions, this time two! 

The Doctor takes Amy Pond away in the Night before her Wedding and later even her fiance Rory Williams!
Yes, her fiance.
And yes, that means trouble. Big trouble!
Oh and the Mystery of Professor River Song (Season 4) will be revealed!

Story

The ast Regeneration of the Doctor was very painful and there was no one who stayed with him to the very end. Nevertheless just after he is (almost) able to stay he is off to have new adventures, this time with Amelia Pond, a scottish girl.
The First time she meets the Doctor she is only what? 8 years old?! But their meeting is heartwarming and very funny!
There's a bit of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff but in the end he travels the universe with 23 year old Amy Pond, the now grown-up Amelia. She is about to get married and the Doctor has to work hard to give her her wedding and save the world - the second completely incidentally of course.

Pro and Cons

For some it's going to be strange to get used to a completely new Doctor, but it will happen pretty fast. Matt Smith plays this role in a amazing way and he's the Doctor: So there's nothing to be afraid of!
It's a bit unserious and too funny to watch the Doctor, he's a bit of a child in this regeneration, even more than the Tenth One, but on the other side the season can cheer you up quickly.

So, I must admit, I had this films for a long time before I started this post, I watched them what?, 3 weeks ago? But something came between. Well, another Film Season. Well, two.
Yeah, in the Specials The Doctor finally regenerates to Matt Smith in the last Episode. I cried.
But the next Doctor is great aswell!
This is after Season 4, I bought is as "All the Specials" although officially it belongs to the Season 4.

The Master - Time Lord, a bit crazy, was a friend of the Doctor, now he's an enemy

Story

The Tenth Doctor sees how his life is about to end.
He tries to struggle, makes mistakes, safe worlds and is confronted by an old enemy: The Master returns from the Death and want to save Gallifrey - The Lost Planet of the Time Lords.
Without a Companion who holds his hand The Doctor has to fight the hardest battle he ever has fought.

Pro and Cons:

Okay, a big Con is that David Tennant, who plays my favourite Doctor, leaves the Show, what means, I won't watch him in this Role again.
Well, I will, in the anniversary, but this is only in 5 Months and just for 2 Episodes.
But although The Doctor is a bit crazy because of his imminent Death and makes a lot of mistakes it's still full of David Tennants/Tenths typical Jokes. I love that.
But I will miss him. I miss him already ...

Yup, Luke returns this times. That was one of the highlights, although Elisabeth Sladen, the actress of Sarah Janes, died in an age of 63 year of cancer, so the filming couldn't continue.
The second highlight was Sky, another adopted child to Sarah Jane, who is a kind of weapon from another world. She can feel electricity and manupulate it.

 Yeah, in the Beginning someone knocks on Sarah Jane door right in the beginning of the show, and when she goes outside, there is a baby. And this is Sky.
And, the most important, Luke returns! Wonderful. Great. Favourite character. <3 (okay, forget that last thing)

Pro und Cons

It has only 3 Episodes. Honestly.
That's because of the death of Elisabeth Sladen, which really touched me. I just sat there, couldn't understand what my television was telling me. I know that I don't know her. But she was so full of energy in the movies that it was ... well, for me it was not possible for her to die.
Yes ...

But they are great. All three. Just great. With Luke's coming back and Sky as a new member of the team it is another awesome Season.

But this time, Luke has to go. In a way. He goes to university and leaves the others behind, although he isn't really gone. It's strange. Yes, strange.
On the other side, the Doctor appears again. The eleventh incarnation, played by Matt Smith, comes to the show! Actually the Doctor dies, but never mind ;) You will see.

Story

Like I said before, in one episode ('the Doctor's Death') the Doctor has died and they are allowed to go to his funeral, but it is a trap. Like always.
What I have to add, too, is that strange Man in Black appear and the Judoon. Oh, I love them. No. Not really. They strange. But cool.
Jo Grant, another former Companion to the Doctor appears in the Serie 'The Doctor's Death', too. Oh, great!

Pro and Cons

I must admit I don't like Matt Smith's Doctor. Yes, he is like the normal Doctor, the tenth Doctor, he is the Doctor, but he is also different. Strange. Like when you were best friend with someone and met him again, ages later. Just strange feeling, although I know that I'm not familiar with Matt Smith.
Also I don't like that Luke had to go. In the Show he had become my favourite Character and, well, I was kinda sad when he had to leave to the university.
But never mind, it's a great season, again, although it was a little bit thin with only 6 episodes.

This time, the Slitheen come back for they revenge, Rani abandons her friends because she's tired of them and suddenly let them disappear. Sarah Jane's getting married, but the doctor interfere.

In Amazon they are saying that this season isn't as good as the first two, but that isn't my opinion. I think it's gorgous. Yeah, I dunno. Maybe.
Eh, that! Rani has a bit of an accent, so she says 'dunno' instead of 'don't know' and little think like that. But I think that don't make the show any worser!

Pro and Cons

It is an amazing show, like it was before. I love it!
But it is also sad, emotional and bloody.
The Doctor cries many times, Donna cries many times.
Not so mine, but it's all right. I survived it and so will you.

That is a season a little bit like Dr. Who, what is maybe the reason why I bought it.
Sarah Jane was a former companion to the doctor, I guess to the third but I'm not sure. In the new series she turns up, too, I guess at the second serie.
I got a 5 season set of SJ, so it is possible that I mix it up, so don't get all angry with me, okay? In the end, we are all just humans, aren't we?

Yeah, after Sarah Jane left the Doctor or he left her because of the Time War, she has to get used to a normal life again. Unable to do that, she decides to start protecting the earth from alien invasion. Doing the same as the doctor, in a way.
Being alone for all her life after the Doctor left her behind, she finds a family in Maria, Luke and Clyde.

Pro and Cons

It is a kidsshow. Honestly, I didn't know when I bought it!
I just saw "Dr. Who" and wasn't able to think anything other but "Buy! Buy! BUY!!!".
So it is a bit childish. A tiny little bit, but anyway, it's great! Fighting aliens, Sonic lipstick (although the doctor has a screwdriver) and a lot of savings the world! Love it.

Maybe I should post fewer films, but anyway.
Welcome to my new presentation.
This time it's not really a movie but a play, a real play with normal actress, but it was filmed on DVD so more people could watch it. What I find a kind of great because it isn't easy for a 15-year-old girl to go to Great Britain for a little holiday.
So, Hamlet. It was written something like 400 hundred years ago by a great, great man called Shakespeare. (And when someone of you do not know who that is than ... well, just don't mention it here, okay? It is possibly that I'll get angry. )
Originally it's is a stageplay. And it's great!

Denmark.
The king had died and his brother took his place, married the queen. Hamlet is full of pain and becomes mad. His whole family suffer under this.
After he killed the doctor Polonius (I guess) all collapses.

Pro and Cons

It is originally a play for a stage and it was written a long, long time ago, so the style is complicated and even I, who had a lot of experience in watching english movies, had difficulties to understand the action.
But, at last, it has an great action. David Tennant is an awesome actor.

Barefoot on the moon

It's, again, a film.
Yeah, I know, I'm watching too many movies, but Dr. Who was so great that I just wasn't able to stop. Again.
It's just amazing, how an old film like that (2006/07 I guess) is so great.
But, this time, the Doctor has to get himself a new companion because Rose died, sry, because Rose is locked away in a parallel world so she can't help him anymore.
A kind of tricky, to find himself a friend.
But he'll manage it.

After Rose died/disappeared/whatever at the end of Volume 2 the Doctor has to find himself a new companion, a new friend who can held his hand.
In the pilot he mets Donna (surname forgotten, sorry), but she didn't want to stay. Next episode and he has a brand new companion named Martha Jones, dark coloured skin and pretty.
Well, not my type, but anyway.
They have to save the world again.
Oh, how I love this!

Pro and Cons

So, the Volume 2 is again a GREAT serie of Dr. Who with amazing Special Effects and wonderful actors, and I know that I'm sounding like a kind of idiot who has no idea of movies but believe me, Volume 2 will amaze you as well!
And now I have no ideas what to write because I don't want to repeat the things I said in the last posts about previous series.

So, that's the first Volume of the Sciene Fiction Serie Dr. Who. Or, the first Volume of the new Dr. Who, because officially it's the story of the 9th doctor and surely not the first Volume.
Here he meets a new companion, Rose Tyler. She's not like the other Hollywood Beautys who came before. She is normal.
But netherless she will preserve the earth and the humanity together with the doctor from destruction many times.

Rose and the doctor travel trough space and time to save the humanity. 

SPOILER!!! First Episode

Well, Rose is a normal girl. But one day when she finish her work she have to bring money to some man (name forgotten ...). She don't find him, but is attacked by living diplay dummies. Before they are able to kill her she is saved by a strange man. He sends her home and than blows up the building. A day later he visit her home because she took a piece of living plastic to her at home. They have a little fight, than Rose wants a explanation. The doctor explains something strange like that he can feel how the earth is flying trough the space. 

Well, because that isn't enough for her she makes some research at her own. She finds a man who is an expert about the doctor. While she talks to her her boyfriend Micky is kidnapped by a living dustbin and replaced by a plastic double. She don't notice and they visit a pizzeria. Here she recognizes that something is strange with him and is saved again by the doctor. In fact, he tear Fake-Micky's head of. She follows him into his ship, the TARDIS. The doctor follows the signal and finally Rose save the earth from an invasion of living plastic. 

Pro and Cons

It is a real great show with humor and action, but some times the actors are a little bit weak or nthe special effects a little bit strange but overall it is just awesome! 

Normally English humor is a kind of strange, but the reason, why Dr. Who is so famous and have survive that long is that it isn't strange but funny!

Well, thats a kind of film. Okay, it is a huge plastic box with many films. 

But seriously: It is one of the awesomest, the greatest, the wonderfullest series I ever watched! 

It's about an Alien called the doctor who flies with his ship TARDIS through Space and Time. The serie began in 1950, I think, and it is the longest-shown-serie in the world! 

The actors changes often, but that is okay, because the doctor in the story has to change, too.

Well, I don't know the exact story because I only watched the BBC-Series of Dr. Who. I wish, I could watch the first episodes aswell, but I have no idea where to get them.
In "Dr. Who Volume 2" Rose already knows the docter from the first Volume. The only problem is, that the doctor has regenerate at the end of "Dr. Who Volume 1" so he looks different and she don't know how to deal with that. But she finally accepts it and so she has many adventures with the doctor again.
For example there is a Cybermen attack, they land in a parallel world and they are treated with a black hole and the devil himself.

Pro and Cons

How I said in the BASICs, I really love this serie.
It is funny, it is about timetraveln and about spaceships.
But it is an english movie, that means, the humour is a little bit specific and sometimes even awful. 

Also it is nothing for people who are easily afraid, because there are a lot of ... well, scary moments in the film. It isn't like a horrorfilm, but some things are really, really scary.
And the End is really, really, really sad.
But netherless, there is also a 3rd Volume of Dr. Who, so the serie goes on!
